The MCU has finally found its Daredevil! During the Spider-Man: No Way Home press tour Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirms Charlie Cox is the Marvel Cinematic Universes Matt Murdock. There has been a huge and we mean HUGE movement by fans to get Charlie Cox into the MCU following the cancellation of the Daredevil series on Netflix.
"If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil," Feige told CinemaBlend Sunday. "Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen."
After the initial trailer for No Way Home, fans believed the lawyer sleeves were that of Matt Murdock. Turns out they weren't or at least that's what they are having us believe. Regardless, there has been a constant stream of rumors of Cox putting on the red for No Way Home. Sony, Feige, and Cox have yet to confirm.
"I don't want to say something that could potentially jeopardize those chances because the people high up at Marvel, maybe they see this stuff or hear what I say and maybe that influences," Cox told Scott King at Forbes. "I don't know. I have no idea. I love how passionate the fans are and I feel very, very, very touched that so many of them have gone online and made their voices heard about the desire for me to come back."
