Based on the characters by Neil Gaiman and developed for television by Steve Yockey. Edwin (the brain) and Charles (the brawn) are happy being stuck between the living and the dead solving cases of tortured souls’ Earthly mysteries to aid them in moving on. Not wanting to move on themselves, they dodge Death when she does her duty for the other saved souls. Clairvoyant Crystal joins the gang after being possessed by her demonic ex. He’s purloined her precious memories and she must piece her past together. Rounding out the paranormal party is Niko, whose near-death experience pulls back the veil to the ghostly plane offering her the opportunity to lend her emotional intelligence to the cases they take on. The Dead Boy Detective Agency is stuck in the Pacific Northwest counting cats, solving cases, dodging deadly witches, and dealing with their own internal struggles of both their living and afterlives.
